How does Try Before You Buy work?

1. You can try a full-size Woke Up Like This Foundation risk-free, just pay shipping upfront. Take the PowerMatch quiz to find your recommended shade. Once you receive your perfect match, you have 14 days to love it or leave it. You will not be charged for the foundation unless you decide to keep it.

2. Love it? Keep it for $44. Not your perfect match? Just send it back within 14 days of delivery and you'll only be charged the original shipping cost.

At the time you place your order, you will see a pending transaction on your account for $44 (plus tax if applicable). This is just a pre-authorization hold to validate your form of payment, not a charge. It will drop off your statement in 14 days if you return the foundation. If you decide to keep the foundation (and we’re so confident in our formula, we think you will), the hold will become a charge and you will be charged the full $44 price at the end of the 14-day period.

3. Returned foundations are donated to Project Beauty Share, a non-profit organization committed to providing makeup and hygiene products to women in need, in an effort to help increase confidence and promote a positive self-image.

How much of the product am I allowed to use?

This full-sized foundation is all yours for 14-days. Treat it as part of your normal routine and use as much as you need to get a feel for the foundation and decide if it’s a match or not.

How does payment work?

When you place your order, we will pre-authorize your card for $44 to validate it (Don’t worry, in case you decide to return your foundation the pre-authorization amount will drop off your card). We will charge your card $44 after 14 days if you decide to keep your foundation.

What if I didn’t get the right shade?

Yes, we exclusively send brand new, full-sized foundations through the Try Before You Buy program.

Is this a subscription?

No, this is a one-time delivery, and you’ll only be charged for the foundation if you decide to keep it. Try Before You Buy is a one-time only promotion!
